The Milwaukee Brewers’ first World Series appearance in 44 years will not end in a sweep.

The Brewers lost Game 4 in heartbreaking fashion to the Tampa Bay Rays in extra innings. Milwaukee leads the series 3-1.

Shortstop Cooper Pratt had one of the greatest rookie performances in World Series history, hitting the go-ahead homer in the 12th inning, but Brewers pitcher Shane Drohan imploded and the Rays prevailed, 4-3.

Pratt recorded four hits, making him the first rookie to do so in a World Series clincher.

After bullpen dominance throughout the postseason, Drohan didn’t record an out in the bottom of the 12th.

Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.
