University of Wisconsin-La Crosse police issued a safety alert to students on Sunday evening following a series of unauthorized entries into occupied residence rooms in Coate Hall.
According to authorities, suspects entered student rooms without permission. While no physical injuries were reported, police emphasized that the incidents present significant safety concerns for campus residents. Authorities are urging students to keep both room and exterior doors locked at all times and to report any suspicious behavior immediately.
Police released descriptions of three suspects involved in the incident: a white male with blond hair wearing a black hoodie; an individual of unknown sex and race wearing black clothing, shorts, and white socks with sandals; and a tall, thin white male with brown hair wearing a dark gray or green shirt.
The investigation remains ongoing as campus police ask anyone with relevant information to contact the UW-La Crosse Police Department.
