The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has released the Sustainability and Business Support section’s 2025–2026 report, showcasing how forward-thinking businesses are voluntarily exceeding regulatory standards to improve environmental outcomes and boost operational efficiency. The report emphasizes key accomplishments across the state, including 20 years of participation in the Green Tier program by Veridian Homes LLC and Holsum Dairies LLC, as well as Badger Corrugating Company's operational enhancements in La Crosse. Additionally, it highlights Sun Prairie’s transition to 100% renewable electricity for municipal operations and Inpro Corporation’s Zero Waste Program certification.
The report also details the successful debut of Enviro-Nav, an interactive web tool that helps organizations identify applicable environmental regulations and permits, alongside the expanded adoption of Enviro-Check for proactive risk management. The DNR encourages businesses and the public to review the complete report online or contact the Sustainability and Business Support team to explore free, non-regulatory resources available to support local sustainability efforts.
