The Milwaukee Brewers are again advancing to the National League Championship Series and will face a common foe.

The Brewers defeated the San Diego Padres in the National League Division Series, winning on Oct.8 by a score of 3-1 and winning the series 3-1.

Venezuelan star Jackson Chourio continued his clutch performances this series by hitting a single in the fifth inning, driving in the go-ahead run.

Chourio is now the Brewers’ career leader in postseason RBI at just 22 years old. Chourio has 17 RBI, including six in this series, in 16 playoff games.

Garrett Mitchell tripled and scored the tiebreaking run in the fifth inning before making a pivotal catch on Manny Machado's drive to the wall in the eighth.

Machado almost drove the ball out of the park, but Mitchell grabbed the ball at the warning track, robbing Machado of a homer.

Mitchell also drove in Sal Frelick with Milwaukee’s first run as the Brewers snapped their 12-game postseason road losing streak since 2018.

The Brewers will now face the Los Angeles Dodgers, who swept the Brewers at this same point last season.

Game 1 is Oct. 11 at American Family Field and ace Jacob Misiorowski will get the start.
