
The Hub City 2026 Diesel Truck Challenge happens Friday and Saturday
Hub City Dirt Drags will present the Hub City 2026 Diesel Truck Challenge Friday (October 9) and Saturday (October 10) at the Richland County Fairgrounds. Lacey Steffes is with Hub City Dirt Drags.
Before the two-day event gets underway Friday the public is invited to the fairgrounds on Thursday.
The Diesel Truck Challenge will feature on Friday at Noon the Diesel Truck Challenge Class Dyno, a Friday Night Lights Truck Show at 5:00, Truck & Tractor Pulls at 6:00 and Live Music at 9:00. Saturday there will be a Show N Shine Featuring Girls Only Zone at 10:00, Feature Class Truck Pulls at 11:00, also at 11:00 Fan Dyno & Burn Out Road, the Diesel Truck Challenge & Diesel Truck Tour Final Dirt Drags at 3:00 and Truck Show Awards at 5:00.
Admission is $30 per day or you can purchase Weekend Passes in advance at participating local businesses.

Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District. Tim Thiede is a Muscoda native who earned a degree in Radio/TV/Film from UW-Oshkosh where he decided to return to school as a non-traditional student. Since graduating in 2013 Tim has been working in radio previously in Reedsburg before being hired at WRCO in 2021. Besides being an on-air personality Tim also assists in the news department, engineers sports broadcasts and helps out wherever needed.
