Health officials across Wisconsin continue to monitor and respond to measles cases across multiple counties. The Department of Health Services, in coordination with local county health departments, is conducting thorough case investigations and managing response efforts to mitigate further spread within impacted communities.

Local health departments emphasize that vaccination remains the single most effective safeguard against measles. Residents are urged to verify their immunization records through their primary healthcare providers or official state health registries. Individuals who are unimmunized or due for a follow-up dose are strongly advised to schedule a Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccination as soon as possible to protect themselves and their communities.
