Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma is responding to his poor performance during the team’s preseason opener on Oct. 5.

“It’s pre season calm down lol,” the 31-year-old replied to a tweet from Bucks superfan Nathan Marzion.

The original tweet were highlights of Kuzma making laughably bad plays on the court. “I cannot do 82 more games of this guy,” Marzion said.

The Bucks lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 116 to 97. Kuzma finished the game with one point, a free throw, in 20 minutes. He went 0-for-6 from the field and 0-for-2 from three. He gathered five rebounds and one assist and had a plus-minus of -13.

Kuzma has drawn the ire of some Bucks fans due to his evolution of political takes on X/Twitter while not meeting the expectations of fans in games.

"Fam you be doin this in the regular season too what's ur point," wrote one fan on X.

"Brother you can't even score when everyone else on the court is at like 50% effort i am literally begging you to retire," wrote another.

Last season, Kuzma averaged 13 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 26.2 minutes. He shot 49.2% from the field and 34.7% from three.

A 2020 NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kuzma was with the Washington Wizards when he was acquired by the Bucks in February 2025 in a deal that saw franchise staple Khris Middleton depart.

The Bucks open the regular season on the road against the Wizards on Oct. 21.
