16 Year Old Arrested at Oshkosh North High School
Classes are cancelled today at Oshkosh North High School after police arrested a student with a gun in his backpack yesterday.

(Oshkosh, WI) Following a police incident at Oshkosh North High School Wednesday morning, the District says there are no other safety concerns. Classes were cancelled to offer students time to process what happened at school yesterday.
A 16 year old is now behind bars after police found a handgun in the backpack he was wearing at the high school. Students were evacuated from the school and bussed to Oshkosh West High School to be reunited with their parents. Police searched for a second student reported to also have a gun at the school. They found the 17 year old, but no gun was located. Police don't believe that student was involved.
Counselors and support services are available for students at Oshkosh North today. Classes will resume on Monday as tomorrow is a scheduled No School Day for students.
