White powdery substance received in Wisconsin Election Commission's mail
Listen:
Wisconsin's Elections Commission reported earlier today that their office received mail with a white powdery substance inside. They say the mail arrived the afternoon of October 14th and a WEC staffer noticed the suspicious substance that appeared to match mailings in other states containing an unidentifiable powdery substance.
Election officials say staff did not open the mail and the commission alerted authorities. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is among the agencies investigating.
