Recently The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has been receiving reports from consumers who are being notified in regards to unclaimed life insurance money. Michelle Reinen (rye-nun) is with DATCP.
When receiving letter in regards to unclaimed life insurance money there are red flags to look for.
An actual lawyer might reach out to the recipient of an inheritance, which is why research should be done before responding.
