Ed Chitwood states, the Milk Into Cheese Drive has begun, and runs through Labor Day.
This is a fundraiser, to deliver cheese to five different food pantries throughout the year – donations of any size are gladly accepted, or $170 buys 1,000 pounds of milk, which makes 100 pounds of cheese.
100% of the money raised goes to the cause, please make checks payable to M.I.C. 16025 Eddy’s Lane, Blue River, WI, 53518.
There will be a hayride later this year, WRCO will provide details as soon as they are available.
Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
