Moving of the Historic Hoover “Hobo” Hotel to take place Saturday

The Wonewoc Lions Club invites the public to be a part of Wonewoc history when moving of the Historic Hoover “Hobo” Hotel takes place Saturday in Wonewoc. Julie Ott is with the Wonewoc Lions Club.
The history of the “Hobo” Hotel dates back to the 1800’s. Lion’s Club member Richard Kilmer talks about that history.
During the event there also will be a Hobo Zone featuring kid’s activities & games, a variety of vendors, music and food stands. All are welcome to watch the moving of the Historic Hoover “Hobo” Hotel, part of the historical hotel’s restoration, Saturday from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm in Wonewoc. Tim Thiede is a Muscoda native who earned a degree in Radio/TV/Film from UW-Oshkosh where he decided to return to school as a non-traditional student. Since graduating in 2013 Tim has been working in radio previously in Reedsburg before being hired at WRCO in 2021. Besides being an on-air personality Tim also assists in the news department, engineers sports broadcasts and helps out wherever needed.
