The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department was called to three different incidents that occurred Saturday (August 8). At 1:48 pm in the afternoon the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a pontoon that came off a trailer in the 5000 block of US Highway 18. The Dodgeville Police Department responded. The Dodgeville Fire Department responded for traffic control. The boat was removed and no injuries were reported.
Shortly after, at approximately 1:56 pm, the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of an oversized load stuck in the road near State Road 130 and Limmex Hill Road. Iowa County Deputies responded to the scene. The Lone Rock Fire Department responded as well to assist with traffic control. The vehicle was removed without issue.
Then in the evening, at 10:13 pm, An Iowa County Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area near County Road B and Vickerman Road. As a result of the investigation, Timothy Barr, 61, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense UTV. Barr was released to a responsible party.

Tim Thiede is a Muscoda native who earned a degree in Radio/TV/Film from UW-Oshkosh where he decided to return to school as a non-traditional student. Since graduating in 2013 Tim has been working in radio previously in Reedsburg before being hired at WRCO in 2021. Besides being an on-air personality Tim also assists in the news department, engineers sports broadcasts and helps out wherever needed.
