Community Connections will be holding a free resource fair today (Thursday) from 3:00 to 7:00 at the Richland Center Community Center. The event is new and is designed to connect individuals and families throughout the area with free and low-cost programs, services and community resources that can improve quality of life and strengthen local communities.
Organizations, from across Wisconsin, will be at the event to connect those who attend with a wide variety of community supports including housing, employment, transportation, healthcare, physical and intellectual disability services including autism supports, mental health resources, veteran services, family supports and recovery programs. There will also be a designated Quiet Hour from 3:00 to 4:00 which will provide a calmer environment for individuals and families who may benefit from a less crowded setting. The free event will have resources for all age groups.. If you would like assist with expenses for resources there is a Go Fund Me page created by Community Connections creator Jinitta Larson where you can donate.
