The Wisconsin Beef Council, in partnership with Gather Wisconsin, has announced the return of the Wisconsin Prime Rib Trail for its second year. The statewide initiative celebrates Wisconsin’s iconic supper club tradition by encouraging food lovers to explore classic prime rib destinations across the state.
For residents and visitors in the Driftless region, several participating stops lie within an easy drive of Richland Center. Featured locations include Dawn Manor in Baraboo, Rockin 9 Golf Course/Restaurant in Union Center, and Badger Crossing Pub & Eatery in Cashton. Each destination offers a unique dining atmosphere alongside a traditional prime rib meal.
In addition to new trail stops, this year’s program highlights community involvement through a People’s Choice recognition, honoring local favorites nominated by prime rib enthusiasts throughout Wisconsin.
Todd Coppernoll oversees local news for WRCO and WRCE radio in Richland Center. Having served Richland Center as Mayor for three terms, Todd brings a unique perspective, and a familiar voice to the news. The focus is local, and so is the reporter.
Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
