RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say the driver of a vehicle that went off a curve at the intersection of Highways 67 and 45 and struck a home is cooperating with their investigation.
A relative of the 43-year-old West Bend man located him Sunday morning. He was issued multiple traffic citations for the incident that occurred in the Town of Auburn Saturday night.
He suffered multiple non-life-threatening injuries and was being treated at a local hospital. No one was at home at the time of the accident and about $50,000 in damage was done to the house. A family pet suffered minor injuries.
Speed and inattentive driving were factors in the crash.
