
The City Auditorium Board of Directors and Richland County Performing Arts Council, are proud to announce the Betty Hayes Baxter Legacy Stage Dedication Ceremony that will be held Sunday at 2:00 at the Richland Center City Auditorium. For 80 years Betty has taught many student how to dance and has held countless recitals on the very stage being named after her. On a recent Morning Show Betty and her daughter Cheryl Baxter talked about the first recital that was held in 1951 at the City Auditorium.
Betty’s recitals always had a large number of people that would pack the auditorium.
Everyone is invited to the Betty Hayes Baxter Legacy Stage Dedication Ceremony tomorrow Sunday at 2:00 at the Richland Center City Auditorium. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to help with with expenses for the renovation of the City Auditorium.

Tim Thiede is a Muscoda native who earned a degree in Radio/TV/Film from UW-Oshkosh where he decided to return to school as a non-traditional student. Since graduating in 2013 Tim has been working in radio previously in Reedsburg before being hired at WRCO in 2021. Besides being an on-air personality Tim also assists in the news department, engineers sports broadcasts and helps out wherever needed.

Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
