RACINE — SC Johnson will host a free Community Interest Program screening of UECK – The Story of Baseball’s Most Unlikely Legend on Tuesday, Aug. 25, and Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the SC Johnson Golden Rondelle Theater in Racine, according to an announcement from the company.
The documentary focuses on Bob Uecker, whose career spanned more than six decades and included Major League Baseball, television and film appearances, and his long-running role in the broadcast booth for the Milwaukee Brewers, organizers said. The film was shot over the final three years of Uecker’s life, according to the announcement.
Each screening will be introduced by co-director Steve Farr and co-producer Denise Roberts McKee, who are both Racine natives, the announcement said.
