WEST ALLIS — Wisconsin State Fair organizers are encouraging fairgoers to take advantage of the final weekend of the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair, with events scheduled Friday, Aug. 14, through Sunday, Aug. 16, at State Fair Park in West Allis.
The fair, presented by T-Mobile, is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year, and organizers said the last three days will include sponsor activities, animal events, competitive exhibits, shopping areas and live entertainment.
Friday, Aug. 14: Piggly Wiggly Day and live music
Friday is billed as Piggly Wiggly Day, with sponsor activities in Central Park scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to the fair.
The schedule includes a Kemps Ice Cream Eating Contest, with sign-ups listed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the contest scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. A Frito-Lay sampling event is also listed for 10 a.m. at the South SkyGlider landing area while supplies last.
Animal and agriculture-related programming listed for Friday includes a dog sports demonstration at 3:30 p.m. and a Champions Challenge “Hunter Over Fences” event at 6 p.m.
Competitive exhibits programming in Grand Champion Hall includes homebrew demonstrations at 1 and 2 p.m.
Live entertainment Friday includes Lindsey Stirling with PVRIS at 7:30 p.m. on the Bank Five Nine Main Stage (ticketed), and The Gufs at 8:30 p.m. at the Bank Five Nine Amphitheater (free with fair admission), organizers said. The fair’s schedule also lists “Cirque at the Fair” performances daily at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. near Entrance A on South Grandstand Avenue.
Saturday, Aug. 15: Cream Puff Lovin’ Celebration
Saturday’s featured event is the Cream Puff Lovin’ Celebration, presented by UW Credit Union, with activities scheduled in Central Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., organizers said. The event includes a cream puff eating contest and family activities.
The fair also said UW Credit Union will provide a free Original Cream Puff to the first 100 fairgoers in line at the Dairy Building each morning of the fair.
Other Saturday listings include the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile at 10 a.m. on Wisconsin Way between the Coliseum and Wisconsin Building, and an All-Breed Futurity event at 5:15 p.m. A Champions Challenge “Trail” event is listed for 7:30 p.m.
Saturday’s Main Stage concert is AJR with Em Beihold at 7:30 p.m. (ticketed), and a free amphitheater show — “Let’s Sing Taylor,” described as an unofficial live tribute show — is scheduled for 8 p.m., according to the fair.
Sunday, Aug. 16: Foundation Day and final-day activities
Sunday is Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation Day, with organizers encouraging visitors to support the foundation that helps preserve and enhance State Fair Park.
The fair also noted barn closures are expected to begin at 3 p.m. Sunday and continue until the fair closes. Scheduled programming includes an Open Dairy Cattle Breed Show at 9 a.m. and a Champions Challenge “Gymkhana” event at 3 p.m.
Live entertainment listings for Sunday include The WhiskeyBelles at 11 a.m. at Saz’s Miller High Life Pavilion and Pat McCurdy at 5:30 p.m. at the Bank Five Nine Amphitheater (free with fair admission), according to the schedule. Shopping highlights listed include Mile Marketplace, located under the Grandstand.
