The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office responded to three calls on Saturday

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office received three calls during the morning hours on Saturday (August 1). At 7:04 The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of wires down near Suthers Road and Ivey Road in the Town of Mineral Point. The Mineral Point Fire Department, Mineral Point EMS, Iowa County Sheriff Deputy, and Alliant Energy responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. T
hen at 10:28 the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a CO detector going off in the 7000 block of Coon Rock Road in the Town of Arena. The Arena Fire Department and Arena EMS responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
The final call was received at 10:47 when the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a single vehicle crash with three occupants near the 5000 block of State Road 130 in the Town of Clyde. The Lone Rock Fire Department, Lone Rock EMS, Spring Green EMS, Dodgeville EMS, and the Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies all responded. The accident scene was not located and all units returned available.

Tim Thiede is a Muscoda native who earned a degree in Radio/TV/Film from UW-Oshkosh where he decided to return to school as a non-traditional student. Since graduating in 2013 Tim has been working in radio previously in Reedsburg before being hired at WRCO in 2021. Besides being an on-air personality Tim also assists in the news department, engineers sports broadcasts and helps out wherever needed.
