
Carmen Schools of Science & Technology Northwest Celebrates New Home with Ribbon Cutting and Community Block Party
MILWAUKEE (July, 2026) Carmen Schools of Science & Technology Northwest will officially celebrate the opening of its new campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony and community block party. The free event will welcome students, families, neighbors, alumni, partners, and community members to mark an exciting new chapter for the school on Saturday, July 25 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the new campus, 3215 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.
The celebration recognizes not only a new building, but a continued investment in educational excellence, opportunity, and the Harambee community. Guests will enjoy an afternoon of celebration featuring family-friendly activities, partial school tours, food trucks, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with the Carmen Northwest community.
The new campus provides an enhanced learning environment designed to support student achievement while strengthening relationships with families and neighborhood partners. The move positions Carmen Northwest to continue expanding opportunities for current and future students while remaining deeply committed to its mission of preparing every student for success in college, career, community involvment and family life.

Following the ribbon cutting, the celebration will continue with a community block party featuring activities for all ages, giving families and neighbors an opportunity to explore the campus while celebrating the start of a new era for Carmen Northwest.
