Child Pornography Arrest in Ripon

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Ripon Police Tuesday morning executed a search warrant at a private residence in the 600 block of State Street for an Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation.

During the search a “significant” amount of Child Sexual Abuse Material was located. A 72-year-old man was taken into custody and booked into the Fond du Lac County jail on multiple counts of possession of child pornography.

Ripon Police were assisted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation and Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation is continuing.
