Oshkosh Man Killed in Winnebago County Crash

WAUTOMA, Wis (WAUH)- Winnebago County saw its second fatal traffic accident in as many days Tuesday when a two-vehicle crash occurred in the Town of Vinland.

Sheriff’s officials tell us deputies responded about 2:15 pm to the intersection of County Road GG and Green Valley Road.

A 60-year-old Oshkosh man was driving a sedan south on Green Valley Road and stopped at County Road GG, but then entered the intersection. His car was struck by a westbound SUV on County Road GG.

The Oshkosh man was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries. Occupants of the SUV suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The number of people in the SUV was not specified.

A 77-year-old Town of Poygan man was killed when his motorcycle went off a road Monday.
