NEW BERLIN, Wis. — Miss Wisconsin Competition organizers announced a second round of preliminary award winners Thursday night, recognizing contestants for health and fitness, evening gown and talent as the event heads into its final competitions this weekend in New Berlin.

Miss Capital City Jasmine Peck received preliminary honors in both the health and fitness category and the evening gown category. Miss River City Jordenne Butler and Miss Wood Violet Evelyn Green tied for the preliminary talent award.

The preliminary winners will receive scholarships tied to the awards.

Peck, 22, of St. Francis, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her community service initiative is “Healing Hearts Together: Supporting Foster Care.” Peck received a $200 scholarship for the health and fitness preliminary award and a $250 scholarship for the evening gown award.

Green, 21, is from Oshkosh and is a senior at the University of Northern Iowa studying nursing, organizers said. She performed a baton-twirling routine for the talent phase of competition. Her community service initiative is “You’re Invited: Celebrating Different Abilities through Inclusion.”

Butler, 27, is from Onalaska and is a graduate of Viterbo University, organizers said. She performed a jazz dance routine for talent, and her community service initiative is “Building Resilience for Healthy Futures.” Butler and Green each received a $500 scholarship for the talent award.

Thursday night’s show marked the end of preliminary events for the 2026 competition, according to Miss Wisconsin. Organizers said the top 11 candidates will be announced Saturday, June 20, and will compete again in onstage phases, including talent, evening gown, and health and fitness to determine who will receive the title of Miss Wisconsin 2026.

The winner will advance to the Miss America Competition in September.

Miss Wisconsin’s Teen Competition is scheduled for Friday, June 19, at the West Performing Arts Center in New Berlin, according to the release. The Miss Wisconsin Final Competition is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, at the same venue. Tickets and livestream access are available through misswisconsin.org.

The Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Organization, established in 1936, is the state affiliate of the Miss America Organization and focuses on scholarship support, community service and leadership development, according to the release. Organizers said three Miss Wisconsin titleholders have gone on to become Miss America: Terry Anne Meeuwsen (1973), Laura Kaeppeler (2012) and Grace Stanke (2023).
