
Richland Center Fire Department responds to semi-tractor fire
This morning, at 1:33 AM, the Richland Center Fire Department responded to a report of a semi tractor fire at 16517 US HWY 14 West. Upon arrival, crews found the vehicle fully involved in flames. The semi tractor, which was not hooked to a trailer and was isolated from other structures, was deemed a total loss.
Fifteen firefighters and five fire units attended the scene, with assistance provided by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. The team remained on-site for one hour to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Following the response, Fire Chief Scott Gald reminded the community that the Richland Center Fire Department will host its annual Open House this Saturday, June 13, immediately following the Rodeo Parade.
