
WAUTOMA, Wis (WAUH)- Waushara County authorities say a 36-year-old Wild Rose man fled to Utah after stabbing and killing his grandmother at their rural home Saturday.
Randy Jenks is facing one count of first-degree intentional homicide. He was arrested in Ogden, Utah Sunday. He surrendered to police custody without incident.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to the Mount Morris home to do a welfare check on the 75-year-old woman. They found her lying on the floor with dried blood around her.
Relatives told police Jenks confessed to the murder. According to the complaint a relative told investigators Jenks said his grandmother had “pushed him too far.” Jenks had lived at the home for more than a year.
