
Woman charged in death of husband appears in Iowa County Court
A woman accused of killing her estranged husband appeared in Iowa County Circuit Court this morning. Kelli Nechkash, 67 of Black Earth, is charged with first degree intentional homicide in the death of Todd Nechkash Sr., 62 of Ridgeway. His body was found in his home following a welfare check the morning of February 12.
In connection with the case, Kelli has been charged with failure to keep her vehicle under control. She was taken into custody the night of February 11, following a crash in Mineral Point. The crash happened to be her sixth OWI offense.
Kelli Nechkash was in custody today in court. The cash bond was set last week at $1 million. She is due back in court March 6 for a Motion Hearing.
