The Fox Valley brings the bang with fireworks shows for the 4th
APPLETON, WI—(WISS)— Many cities and towns throughout the Fox Valley have planned fireworks shows as part of their Independence Day celebrations. Many come with music, food, and fun.
Appleton’s fireworks show
One of the largest displays will happen in Appleton at Appleton Memorial Park on July 3rd. The event starts at 4 pm and will continue through the fireworks display that begins at 9:45 pm
Planned activities include:
- Music by Yo-DJ
- An inflatable area for children
- Food trucks provided by Fox Valley Food Trucks
- Beverages available from Stone Arch Brewpub
- A fireworks display presented by Festival Foods
“We’re looking forward to another great community celebration, made possible by the continued support of our sponsors and partners,” said Dean Gazza, Director of Parks & Recreation.
Oshkosh’s fireworks show
Oshkosh hosts its annual 4th of July celebration at Menominee Park on July 4, 2025 at dusk. This highly anticipated event brings the community together for an unforgettable day of family, fun, food, and fireworks.
This year, the Festival Foods Fireworks Show will be launched from Ames Point at the far north end of Menominee Park. The best viewing places are marked with yellow stars on the map. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot and take advantage of the festive atmosphere.
If it rains, the Festival Foods Fireworks Show will be moved to Saturday, July 5th.
In addition to the fireworks, guests can enjoy a Food Truck Rally from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Twenty food trucks will be located along Siewert Trail, near Irving Avenue, and along the Menominee Park walking trail, north of the Millers Bay Parking Lot.
“We’ve set up six different food court areas throughout the park on the North end,” said Kathy Snell, special events coordinator for the City of Oshkosh. “And so we have those six different areas–food trucks galore! Several of them, so come out and grab a bite to eat. We encourage people to come out early. The food trucks will start serving at 3 pm.”
Additionally, the Reetz Ball Diamond concessions will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., offering more dining options for guests. Visitors are also welcome to take advantage of the amenities in Menominee Park. The Children’s Amusement Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the Menominee Park Zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
