MADISON, Wis (CIVIC MEDIA) – The Wisconsin Senate will hold a public hearing Wednesday to litigate a bill that would require Governor Evers’ administration to deposit millions of dollars in the general fund.
According to Senate Bill 280, the lawmakers are targeting the interest generated from federal COVID-19 funding. As of May 9, the Department of Administration reported to the Joint Legislative Audit Committee that the administration had amassed about $171.5 million in interest.
