WHSPA State Powerlifting Championships – Results Part 2

Congratulations to Powerlifters in Wisconsin for a great season! WHSPA State Powerlifting Championships were on March 7-9th, here are the results for the last two sessions.

Congratulations to Powerlifters in Wisconsin for a great season! WHSPA State Powerlifting Championships were on March 7-9th, here are the results for the last two sessions.

Session 3

Session 3 of the WHSPA State Powerlifting Championships saw the 165lbs, 181lbs, and 198lbs lifters in action. There were four area lifters who placed in the top five in their weight classes. Starting with 5th place in the girls equipped 165lbs weight class from Necedah Gabriella Crubaugh with a total for the day of 804.7lbs. In the girls equipped 181lbs weight class from Necedah Amelia Sharpe placed 3rd with a total of 788.1lbs. The girls equipped 198lbs weight class, out of Necedah, placing 2nd is Isabella Gilson with a total of 738.5lbs for the day. Then, out of Tomah, placing 2nd in the girls raw 198lbs weight class is Brenna Reynolds with a total of 733lbs.

Session 4

The last session of the State Championships had the 220lbs, 242lbs, 242lbs+, 275lbs, and 275lbs+ lifters take the stage for the finale. Six area lifters placed in the top five in their weight classes. Starting in the girls equipped 220lbs weight class, the State Champion with a total of 793.7lbs, Olivia Schultz from Necedah. Nearly keeping up with her in 2nd place, also from Necedah, Kayden Jackson with a 744.1lbs total. In the girls raw 242lbs class placing 2nd out of Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, Aynslee Kuklinski with a total of 870.8lbs. Placing 3rd in the boys equipped 220lbs weight class, Logan Callaway from Necedah with a total of 1146.4lbs. From Adams-Friendship in the boys equipped 275lbs weight class, Christian Ferge took 2nd place with a 1399.9lbs total. Lastly, from Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln in the boys raw 275lbs weight class, Elias Heckman in 2nd place with a total for the day of 1383.4lbs.

Congratulations to every lifter who took part in the season and the state meet! Thank you to all the coaches, and volunteers that keep this sport running, you’re all heroes! See ya’ll next year!
