Central Wisconsin (WFHR, WIRI, WXCO)
Almost One Million Packages of Girl Scout Cookies are Arriving Locally as Trucks are making drops throughout North Central Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes (GSNWGL) are preparing cookie cupboards and warehouses for over one million packages of Girl Scout Cookies arriving over the next two weeks. Starting March 7, Girl Scouts will host cookie booths throughout their communities.
When Girl Scouts participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, the largest entrepreneurial program in the world, they acquire a host of invaluable entrepreneurial skills, including goal setting, money management, decision making, people skills, and business ethics.
All net proceeds from cookie sales stay local with GSNWGL and their troops to fuel inspiring experiences throughout the year, including camp, amazing trips, service projects, and much more. Last year, local Girl Scouts sold over 1.6 million packages of Girl Scout Cookies, donating almost 24,000 packages to women and men serving in the military and to local shelters, frontline workers, and food banks.
Please support your local Girl Scouts by ordering from a Girl Scout you know or by visiting www.girlscoutcookies.org to find a booth near you.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program at GSNWGL runs through March 31, 2025. All packages of Girl Scout Cookies, including the gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip, will be $6.00 each.
